Ross and I are making a lifting program for the upcoming frosh. We want to help the frosh as much as we can to get them prepared for high school football. I am going to push them and motivate them to be great. Coach Wally always said,” never be afraid to be great.”
In the month of October, I want to set up the lifting program. I want to create the workout so they know what is going to be expected. We are going to lift Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Monday will be bi’s and tri’s. Wednesday will be chest and back. Friday will be leg day, never skip leg day. At the beginning of each workout we will do core for a whole song. At the end we will do an activity, either ladders, tug of war, or speed races.
In the month of November, I want to propose my plan and work with the freshman coaches and see what they see. I am really interested in this project because I want to be an Athletic Trainer when I grow up. I hope the frosh coaches let us help out.
In the month of December, I want to set a schedule for when we start to lift. It is never to early to start lifting. If we do start early hopefully we will get a head start on all the other teams and they will be ready.

This article is describing the significance of genius hour. Emily, a twelve year old girl is most passionate about genius hour. She spends eighty minutes every Monday she works with her friends on their project. Ross and I are going to take on the lifting program for the 8th grade very seriously. We already made our workout. We are going to ask the frosh coaches if we can help get the up coming frosh to start lifting so they can get big.

Researches have discovered that geniuses are usually born with fathers over 30. Geniuses also think through all of the problems they are asked. They think through their answers. My Genius hour project makes me think about the right form these young athletes need to exceed their weights.

A 3D printer was not needed for my genius hour project. Ross and I made a video of us doing the exercises right so the upcoming frosh will not get hurt.

In our ted talk, we talked about all of our successes and accomplishments throughout this long project. We also talk about the obstacles we had to overcome to get to our final destination. We also did every exercise that they would need to know.

Can genius be learned? I don't think so. I think you are either a a genius or not. You can learn to be smart but not a genius. For my genius hour project you have to be smart with the right exercises and the form. If you are not doing the right form for a squat you could pull a hammy.

The article I picked is called "Op-Ed: NFL Football can Inspire Future STEAM Leaders. It is about how the NFL can help kids do better in school and make school fun. They have the Football players help the kids learn and I think that's great.
The San Francisco 49's participate in a program like this. They send players to different schools to help kids learn the material easier. They help the kids a lot by having fun while learning it.
The 49's also help with athletic training at schools. They go into gym classes and throw the football around and have fun. They are teaching kids on how to exercise properly.

In the last few weeks Ross and I have went into the weight room every day after school and help the eighth graders with the right form so they do not hurt themselves. We have been making huge progress with them by helping them with the right weights so they do not hurt themselves. Every week I add either 2.5 pounds or 5 pounds depending on if they can do it or not.
